We need to sometimes examine our inner conscience and try to gain right directions of life. The poet says that if not much we can spare a few seconds from our busy daily schedules to introspect. For this he suggests us to wait a while and count up to twelve, them to become fully quiet and forget everything about the material world. The machines, the important tasks, troubles must be forgotten for those few moments we will fed relieved and will experience a strange feeling of oneness with ourselves. After this we will get a new strength within ourselves and are revitalized with vigor. The poet says that in this way we can start our lives a new and in a better way.

The men engaged in collection of salt would look at their hurt hands and pause. They would feel that they had already gathered enough salt already and should stop being greedy. They would be inspired to collect salt only for their requirement and not in endless abundance. "

The most important impact of introspection would be on the war fighters. The planners of new wars would be able shift their minds from planning and feeling wars to other conductive things. They would be able to feel that the world around them have other beautiful things and facts to offer them. The deadly weapons, gases and dead bloodstained bodies would be seen absent and enemies of wars would more around like brothers. They would sit idly under the shade of trees and enjoy the time away from the terror of battlefields.
