ANS-

The Editor, The Assam Tribune Chandmari Guwahati

Sub.: Unemployment problem Date : 20/7/2018

Sir,

Our state Assam has been confronted with the acute problem, unemployment for young people, specially the educated ones. Its evils have already spread far and wide. Some young boys and girls have grown desperate, some have lost their ethics and morals, some have grown violent in their unfair activities. As a result the society suffers very badly.

Certainly the problems have some solutions. Steps must be taken to introduce avenues of self employment by introducing small or medium industries. In agriculture sector there are chances to get the unemployed self employed. NGOs are capable of absorbing a large part of the educated unemployed. In Assam vocational education is neglected, Govt. institutions for vocational educations must be extended or promoted to solve the unemployment problem. In some communities in the remote areas population growth has not been controlled. In order to quicken progress of economy this must be controlled.
